Gourab Chatterjee

Gourab Chatterjee has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gourab is currently working at Ultivue as the Associate Director of Product Management & R&D. Gourab has also held positions as Associate Director of R&D and Senior Scientist in the same company. Prior to Ultivue, Gourab worked at the University of Washington as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and completed their Ph.D. in Bioengineering, focusing on DNA-based nanoscale biomolecular circuit boards. Gourab has also worked at Intellectual Ventures as a Research Analyst, where they contributed to market research and technology assessment reports. Gourab has research experience at Microsoft Research and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where they conducted experiments and simulations related to molecular dynamics and DNA-based circuits. Additionally, they have co-founded a startup called GreenHat Ventures and served as the Head Campus Ambassador at Teach for India. Gourab has a strong academic background with a Dual Degree in Biotechnology from IIT Kharagpur and has also been a Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley.

Gourab Chatterjee obtained their Dual Degree in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, from 2005 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Washington, which was completed between 2010 and 2017.
