Edwin Z.

Edwin Z. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Edwin is currently working as a Manager, Sales at Ultra Clean Technology since June 2022, where they focus on expanding growth accounts in SEA and business development for APAC and EU. Prior to this, Edwin worked as a Business Development Manager at METRON from January 2022 to May 2022.

Before their current roles, Edwin gained valuable experience at Hydroleap as a Business Development Representative from November 2020 to December 2021. During their time there, they successfully sold membrane filtration systems to construction projects and contributed to the establishment of various company functions.

Edwin also has a notable tenure at Hitachi High-Tech Corporation, starting as a Business Development Executive in June 2015 and progressing to roles such as Senior Business Development Executive, Business Development Assistant Manager, and Business Strategy Manager. During this time, they initiated ventures across sectors such as water and wastewater treatment, renewables, and manufacturing.

Additionally, Edwin worked at Asia Polyurethane Manufacturing as a Regional Sales Engineer from March 2014 to June 2015, where they managed international trade and led business development efforts in markets like Israel and Turkey. Prior to this, they gained outbound telesales experience as a Delegate Sales Consultant at IQPC from July 2013 to March 2014.

Edwin's career began in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), where they served as a Non-Commissioned Officer from April 2008 to February 2010. In this role, they were responsible for the regimentation, safety, and combat effectiveness of their men and managed training assets for the unit worth approximately $1M.

Edwin Z. started their education at Fairfield Methodist School from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained their GCE O-Level. Edwin then attended Pioneer Junior College from 2006 to 2007 and achieved their GCE A-Level. Later, from 2010 to 2013, Edwin attended the University of London, where they pursued a BSc Business degree. In terms of additional certifications, Edwin obtained various qualifications. In 2021, they completed the "AI For Everyone" course offered by DeepLearning.AI on Coursera. In 2020, they completed the "Practical Modelling and Valuation" course at Singapore Management University. Edwin also obtained several professional certifications, including "Manage Budgeting and Forecasting Processes for the Business Unit" from the Singapore National Employers Federation in 2019, "Finance for Non-Finance Professionals" from MDIS in 2017, and "Open Water Diver" from PADI in 2015. Additionally, Edwin completed the "Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites" course at NTUC LearningHub in January 2021.
