Phil Thomson

Phil Thomson is an experienced air diver with extensive expertise in underwater operations, particularly in riser and clamp installation, maintenance, and inspection across various projects in the Gulf of Mexico and South China Sea. Currently employed at Ultra Deep Solutions since April 2015, Thomson has also worked with companies such as Always Looking For Work and Swiber Holdings Limited, contributing to numerous projects involving anode installation, stock on riser installation and removal, and visual inspections. Previous experience includes significant roles at Kreuz Subsea, where Thomson utilized advanced tools for complex underwater tasks, and at CDI, engaging in projects ranging from anchor installation to deep water inspections. Educational qualifications include training in mixed gas and saturation diving from the Commercial Diving Institute of Canada.
