Gordon Riach

Gordon Riach is an experienced mechanical engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Mechanical Engineering at Ultra Maritime since September 2023, and previously held the same title at Hanwha Phasor from March 2021 to September 2023. With a strong background in aerospace and defense, Gordon Riach has contributed significantly to companies such as Honeywell Aerospace, where responsibilities included leading mechanical design and analysis for complex RF and electro-mechanical space flight hardware as a Principal Mechanical Engineer. Riach has also held leadership roles in various organizations, overseeing teams of engineers and managing mechanical design projects, including work on technology demonstrators for commercial aerospace applications at UTC Aerospace Systems and leading structural integrity initiatives at Ultra Electronics Group. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
