Haoda (Darren) Zhao

Haoda (Darren) Zhao has a diverse work experience starting from 2015 to the present. Haoda (Darren) worked at Coty Inc. as a part-time Fragrance consultant from November 2015 to February 2016. Haoda (Darren) then joined Ab Initio Pharma in March 2021 as an Associate Scientist, and later became a Scientist (Team Leader) in January 2022. Haoda (Darren) was promoted to Lead Scientist in January 2023 but left the company in May 2023. Currently, they are employed at Ultraceuticals as an Innovation and R&D Chemist, starting in May 2023.

Haoda (Darren) Zhao completed their education in a chronological order starting from their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Applied chemistry at Shenzhen University. Haoda (Darren) attended Shenzhen University from 2010 to 2014. Haoda (Darren) then pursued a Master's Degree in Biotechnology at The University of Queensland from 2014 to 2016. Following their Master's Degree, Haoda (Darren) Zhao continued their studies at UNSW (University of New South Wales), where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from 2017 to 2021.
