Melanie Brandabur

Senior Medical Director, Global Clinical Development at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical

Melanie Brandabur has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Melanie started their career as a Neurology Fellow at Rush University Medical Center in 1991. Melanie then went on to become the Medical Director of the PD Program at the University of Illinois in 1994. In 2002, they became the Medical Director of the Parkinson's Clinic at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, a role they held until 2006 when they joined The Parkinson's Institute as the Clinic Director. In 2015, they became a Movement Disorders Neurologist at UCSF Movement Disorders Department and remained in that role until 2019. Additionally, they worked at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc., first as a Medical Director from 2014 and later as a Senior Medical Director, Global Clinical Development from 2017.

Melanie Brandabur received their MD degree in Medicine from Rush Medical College of Rush University Medical Center between 1983 and 1987. Prior to that, they graduated with a B.S. degree in Biology, General from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
