Kelsey Prior

Kelsey Prior has a diverse work experience starting in the United States Air Force as a Cyber Transport Technician, where they deployed, sustained, troubleshooted, and repaired various network infrastructure systems. Kelsey then worked at Data Processing, Inc. as a Network Technician, managing users, maintaining servers, and ensuring network security. Kelsey went on to work at Wurth Service Supply as a Network/Systems Administrator, where they were responsible for network and systems administration, network upgrades, and managing firewalls. Kelsey later joined Anthem, Inc. as a Security Analyst Senior, where they identified and managed internal data feeds, configured log gathering solutions, and provided incident response support. Kelsey then worked at Eli Lilly and Company, starting as an Associate Consultant and progressing to Associate Director. During this time, they managed SIEM infrastructure, created and implemented use cases, automated incident response activities, and led the execution of high-risk programs. Kelsey's most recent role was at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Lead Engineer - Splunk SOAR, where they utilized their expertise in Splunk and led engineering initiatives. Kelsey is currently employed at UltraViolet Cyber as a Splunk Engineer.

Kelsey Prior has an extensive educational background in the field of information technology and security. Kelsey obtained a Master's Degree in Information Security and Assurance from Western Governors University, completing their studies from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a focus on Network Administration from Kaplan University, which they attended from 2009 to 2012.

Prior's education journey began with their enrollment at The University of Georgia from 2005 to 2007. Although their degree is unspecified, their field of study was Management Information Systems, General. Prior's earlier education includes their high school years at Camden County High School, where they completed their studies from 2000 to 2005.
