VP Product Development / Design / Visual Merchandising at UMA Enterprises

Robert Story has a diverse and extensive work experience in the creative and product development field. Robert currently holds the position of VP Product Development/Design/Visual Merchandising at UMA Home Décor. Prior to this, they worked at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. as the Director of Creative/Design/Product Development from 2015 to 2021. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Creative/Design at Gibson Overseas, leading a team of designers and managing multiple fashion brands. From 1998 to 2013, Robert worked at Disney Consumer Products as the Director of Creative/Product Development, where they played a key role in reinventing the Cars franchise. Robert also has experience working at Disney Store.com and J Crew as a Senior Manager and Senior Designer, respectively.

Robert Story attended Parsons School of Design - The New School from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Product Design / Furniture Design.
