Qian Zhang is an Associate Research Scientist at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, with a focus on developing statistical methods for data analysis in collaboration with the USEPA Chesapeake Bay Program's Scientific, Technical Assessment and Reporting (STAR) team. Additionally, Qian serves as a Data Analyst for the Chesapeake Bay Program, specializing in integrating, analyzing, and visualizing complex environmental data to support Chesapeake Bay restoration efforts. Previous experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins University, where Qian earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering and Science, as well as multiple degrees in Environmental Engineering and Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Johns Hopkins University and Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
