George Hakim

George Hakim is the current Director of Facilities & Operations at The University of Michigan. George has previously held positions as the Operations Director at Cranbrook Educational Community and as the Vice President, Operations at University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy. George has also been the Director, Facilities Administration at State of Michigan, Department of Technology, Management & Budget. George has over 20 years of experience in facilities management and operations.

George Hakim received their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from University of Detroit Mercy. George then went on to Wayne State University to complete their engineering Masters program. After completing their Masters, they became a Licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan.
