Lisa Broome

Lisa Broome is an accomplished academic and administrator with extensive experience in higher education. Since October 2017, Lisa has served as Associate Director and Director of Advising for the LSA Honors Program at the University of Michigan, also taking on the role of Interim Chief Administrator for the LSA Division of Undergraduate Education, overseeing numerous units and managing a multimillion-dollar budget. Previously, Lisa was Interim Director of the Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships, coordinating significant scholarship nomination processes, and held various roles at the University of Kentucky, including Interim Executive Director of the Gaines Center for the Humanities and Director of the Office of External Scholarships, where over $1.5 million in funding was secured. Lisa's academic background includes a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Kentucky and a strong commitment to fostering excellence in humanities education and community engagement through public events and partnerships.
