Tamiko Logan

Tamiko Logan, MSA, currently serves as a Field Instructor at the University of Michigan since January 2017 and has been a Juvenile Justice Specialist at Black Family Development, Inc. since September 2002. In the latter role, Tamiko utilizes the 5 points of Case Management to oversee care and provide integrated services for youth and families involved in the Juvenile Justice System, coordinating treatment planning in compliance with relevant guidelines. Previous positions at Black Family Development, Inc. include Lead Youth Counselor, Program Supervisor/Lead Case Manager, and Case Manager, with experience in conducting assessments, supervising staff, and mastering juvenile justice policies and software systems. Tamiko holds a Master of Science and Administration in Leadership from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University, complemented by a minor in Speech Communication.
