Ellen Driesen

Ellen Driesen has an extensive work experience in various Human Resources roles. Ellen currently serves as the Head of People & Organisation Rechargeable Battery Materials at Umicore since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Randstad as the HR Director Global IT from October 2021 to April 2023. From November 2017 to September 2021, they held the position of HR Director at Randstad Switzerland.

Before joining Randstad, Ellen gained valuable experience at Johnson & Johnson, where they held multiple HR Director positions. Ellen served as the HR Director for Commercial Procurement EMEA from December 2016 to October 2017, HR Director for Cilag AG from January 2015 to October 2017, HR Director for Consumer Supply Chain EMEA from March 2012 to December 2014, HR Director in Janssen Research and Development from April 2010 to March 2012, and HR Manager in Research and Development from February 2006 to March 2010.

Prior to their experience at Johnson & Johnson, Ellen worked at Hudson Benelux as a Principal Consultant from February 2000 to January 2006 and at SHL as a Senior Consultant from July 1995 to January 2000.

Ellen Driesen has a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from KU Leuven, which they obtained in the years 1991 to 1995. In 1998 to 1999, they pursued post-degree studies in Business Management at KU Leuven. In 2019, Ellen received a Certification in Transformational Leadership from the London Business School. In 2020, they completed ORSC Fundamentals system coaching training at Schouten & Nelissen. Most recently, in 2021, Ellen obtained ORSC training from ORSC Schouten University in the field of Organizational, Relationship, and Systems Coaching. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Randstad Certified Mentor from Randstad Sourceright, obtained in 2021.
