Gabriel Werthmann

Gabriel Werthmann has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Gabriel currently holds the position of Compensation & Benefits Lead for Central, Eastern, and Northern Europe & South Africa at Umicore since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Manager Compensation & Benefits for the same regions at Umicore from January to May 2023.

Before joining Umicore, Gabriel worked at KION Group as a Senior Manager of Compensation & Benefits from February 2021 to December 2022. Gabriel also served as the Manager of HR Organizational Development from April 2019 to February 2021.

Gabriel's previous experience includes roles at Korn Ferry Hay Group, where they worked as a Senior Consultant for Reward Strategies, Grading & Organizational Development from June 2017 to March 2019. Prior to that, they held positions as a Consultant for Reward Strategies, Grading & Organizational Development from September 2016 to May 2017, and as an Associate Consultant from March 2015 to August 2016.

Additionally, Gabriel gained experience at finius GmbH as part of the Project Management Office in 2012, at Kienbaum Management Consultants as an Intern for Management Diagnostics & Development in 2012, and at UCONOMY as an Executive Assistant Intern in 2011.

Gabriel's earlier work experience includes internships at Daimler AG as a Personnel Planning Intern in 2010, at finius GmbH as part of the Program Management Office in 2009, and at VAG Group Australia Pty Ltd as a Warehouse Assistant in 2008.

Gabriel Werthmann earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Corporate Management & Economics from Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen in 2012. In 2013, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Human Resource Management from The University of Edinburgh, completing it in 2014.
