Maarten Moens has extensive experience in analytical chemistry and laboratory management, currently serving as Head of Analytical Laboratory at Umicore since March 2011, overseeing the Precious Metal Analysis lab section. Prior to this role, Maarten worked at Atlas Copco Airpower from October 2007 to March 2011 as a Filter Media Specialist, focusing on the development and improvement of filter media for compressors. Maarten began the academic journey as a PhD researcher at Universiteit Antwerpen, culminating in a PhD in Chemistry in 2007.
