Russell Ferguson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the aquaculture and sustainability sectors. Currently serving as Field Sales Manager at UMITRON since October 2021, Russell focuses on integrating AI and satellite technology to enhance global aquaculture sustainability. As Business Manager for FishFrom Ltd since April 2017, Russell leads a significant sustainability initiative aimed at repurposing waste streams for energy and valuable by-products. Russell has also provided consultancy services since April 2011, advising on aquaculture projects and producing business plans. Previous roles include Group Manager Aquaculture at Cryogenetics Technologies UK Ltd, where Russell established the UK subsidiary, and Commercial Manager at Salmobreed Scotland Ltd, managing the launch of a subsidiary for salmon ova sales.
