Nebojsa Valjic has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Nebojsa is currently working as a Network Engineering Business Unit Lead at Accenture, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at umlaut company since 2015. At umlaut company, they also served as the Head of 5G Device Engineering and was responsible for the establishment and management of the "5G Excellence" program. Nebojsa has a strong background in project management and telecommunications consulting. Before joining umlaut company, Nebojsa worked at Vip mobile d.o.o., where they held several roles including Senior Conceptual Expert for RAN Optimization and Conceptual Expert for RAN Planning. Nebojsa also worked as a Radio Network Planning and Optimization Engineer and as a Junior Radio Network Planning Engineer. Nebojsa started their career as an Internship - Quality Assessor for VIP mobile's Business Simulation Project at Oliver Wyman in 2007.
Nebojsa Valjic holds an Executive MBA degree in General Management from The University of Sheffield, which was obtained between 2020 and 2023. Nebojsa also completed 5 years of M.Sc. equivalent studies in Telecommunications Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (ETF), University of Belgrade. In terms of certifications and training, they have obtained various qualifications, including PMP® Certification Training Course from PMI Serbia Chapter in 2020, 5G-NR Stand Alone Solution, Dynamic Spectrum Sharing, 5G NR Air Interface, and Voice Options for 5G NR from Qualcomm. Nebojsa has also completed multiple training programs from Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent University, and other institutions, covering topics such as LTE optimization, radio planning, troubleshooting, and NLP mastery.
