Jostein Eiesland

Jostein Eiesland is an experienced executive currently serving as CEO of Umoe since November 2022, and as Incoming CEO of Umoe Advanced Composites AS since January 2023. Eiesland holds multiple leadership roles, including Chair of the Board of Directors for Umoe BioEnergy, Umoe Mandal AS, and Umoe Industries. Between August 2016 and October 2022, Eiesland was Senior Vice President of Portfolio Development at Yara International, where responsibilities included managing portfolio units and establishing Yara's Corporate Venture Capital unit. Additional roles at Yara included Vice President of Business Development, Head of Mining, and CFO of Mining, overseeing significant investment projects and operations. Educational qualifications include a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and coursework in Psychology.
