Alyssa Sheih

Alyssa Sheih is currently a Principal Scientist at Umoja Biopharma, bringing extensive experience as a Staff Scientist at Fred Hutch, where Alyssa conducted CITESeq experiments in CAR-T cells and the tumor microenvironment. Prior to this, Alyssa worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Fred Hutch and completed their PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Washington, where Alyssa researched MyD88 signaling in airway epithelial cells. Alyssa also held roles as a Science Communication Fellow at Pacific Science Center and conducted research in various departments at the University of Washington. Alyssa's background includes a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Washington.
