Abbas Mohaddes

Abbas Mohaddes has a robust background in leadership and engineering, currently serving as Chairman of the Board at Umovity since December 2022. Prior to this role, Abbas held the position of President and CEO at Econolite from July 2016 to January 2023 and was CEO of the Mohaddes Group between June 2015 and August 2016. Abbas's earlier experience includes significant leadership positions at Iteris, Inc., where Abbas served as President & CEO from 2007 to 2015 and held roles as Executive Vice President and Sr. Vice President - GM Transportation Systems from 1999 to 2007. Additional experience includes serving as CEO of Meyer Mohaddes Associates Inc. from 1991 to 1998, Principal at DKS Associates from 1986 to 1991, Traffic Engineer for the City of Dallas from 1983 to 1985, and Research Coordinator at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln from 1980 to 1983. Abbas's educational background includes time spent at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1976 to 1983.
