Darren Zemanek

Darren Zemanek has extensive experience in the banking industry, with a focus on credit risk review, loan review, asset resolution, and real estate management. Darren started their career at Rainier Pacific Bank, where they served as the Chief Internal Auditor and later as the Real Estate Manager. During their time at Rainier Pacific Bank, they led the audit function and developed a risk management assessment tool. Darren joined Umpqua Bank as the VP - Asset Resolution Officer in 2010 and later served as the SVP - Director of Loan Review at Columbia Bank. In 2023, they returned to Umpqua Bank as the SVP - Director of Credit Risk Review. Throughout their career, Darren Zemanek has demonstrated expertise in risk management, auditing, and lending operations.

Darren Zemanek holds a BA degree in Business/Accounting from the University of Puget Sound. Darren also has a certification in CFSA from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
