Ann-Kathrin Neureuther serves as the Communications Manager for the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration at the UN Environment Programme since August 2020. Prior experience includes consulting for Fairventures Worldwide gGmbH, leading project development for restoration initiatives in Uganda and managing communications. From January 2017 to February 2020, Ann-Kathrin was Senior Manager of Global Development at Rare, where significant initiatives for sustainable agriculture and behavior change were developed. Prior roles involved leading the Global Landscapes Forum at CIFOR and supporting REDD+ initiatives at the United Nations Office for REDD+ Coordination in Indonesia. Ann-Kathrin holds an MSc in Development Studies from SOAS University of London and a BA in Political Sciences from the University of Tübingen, along with extensive involvement in environmental communication and project development.
