Sharon Gorenstein

Sharon Gorenstein is a highly experienced professional currently serving as a consultant for UNAIDS, focusing on the implementation of national commitments regarding gender, human rights, and HIV across Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Colombia. In addition to this role, Gorenstein works as a facilitator for CARE Perú, leading training programs on violence prevention, labor division, self-awareness, and community network building. As a consultant for OIM Peru, Gorenstein is involved in technical guidelines aimed at reducing vulnerabilities and promoting access to services for female refugees and migrants in Lima. Gorenstein has held various significant positions, including adjunct professor at the Universidad del Pacífico and director at the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations, where responsibilities included developing methodologies to enhance services for gender-based violence victims.
