Akmal Marikar

Akmal Marikar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They currently work as a Solutions Engineer at Unacast since May 2022. Previously, Akmal worked at Buxton as an Analytics Developer from September 2017 to April 2022, and as an Analyst I from June 2014 to September 2017. Before that, they were a R/F Field Test Engineer at GTL USA Inc. from August 2012 to December 2013, and a Geek Squad Counter Intelligence Agent at Geek Squad from September 2011 to August 2012. Akmal also gained experience at Texas Christian University, serving as the TCU Daily Skiff Design Editor from January 2011 to May 2011, TCU Daily Skiff Designer from January 2009 to December 2010, and as a Data Acquisition Specialist for the TCU Engineering Senior Design Project from August 2010 to May 2011. They also worked as a Student Worker at International Student Services at Texas Christian University from May 2008 to August 2008.

Akmal Marikar received their Bachelor's degree in Engineering with an Electrical Emphasis from Texas Christian University, where they attended from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications as a Tableau Desktop Certified Associate from Tableau Software in October 2018 and as an Alteryx Designer Advanced Certified from Alteryx in May 2018.
