Pedro Vale Gonçalves

Pedro Vale Gonçalves has a diverse and extensive work experience in various legal roles. Pedro started their career as a Legal Counsel at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1992 before moving on to become an Associate Lawyer at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira in 1994. From 2003 to 2014, they served as the Director of Legal Affairs and Member of the Management Board at Pfizer, where they successfully defended key brands and intellectual property and established and managed a legal team. Pedro then worked as a Lawyer/Of Counsel at PLMJ from 2015 to 2016. Pedro Vale Gonçalves then joined GSK as an Ethics & Compliance Officer and Country Privacy Advisor for Iberia & Israel from 2017 to 2019, where they executed GDPR and simplified compliance processes. Pedro continued their legal career at Unbabel, starting as a Legal Counsel from 2020 to 2021, then becoming a Senior Legal Counsel from 2021 to 2022, and currently serving as the Director of Legal and Compliance. Additionally, they served as a Vice President at the Portuguese Institute of Company's Lawyers - Law Society from 2009 to 2014 and as a Counselor at the Bar Association from 2020 to present. In 1987, they obtained a JURIST/LAW DEGREE from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, specializing in Law.
