Dr. Ifad Rahman

Dr. Ifad Rahman is a distinguished medical professional specializing in cardiology with extensive experience in advanced cardiac imaging. Currently serving as the Medical Director of Advance Cardiac Imaging and Non-Invasive Cardiology at UNC Health since January 2021, Dr. Rahman oversees the Cardiac CT, Cardiac PET, ECHO, and Nuclear Cardiology lab. Concurrently, a Cardiovascular Specialist at Mount Sinai Health System since June 2015, Dr. Rahman has also completed fellowships at Rutgers University and Brown University, and has held academic positions in internal medicine at the University of South Carolina. Initial work experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Georgetown University and a residency as PGY3 at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Rahman possesses an internal medicine degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, with additional educational credentials from Duke University and Rutgers University.
