Priya Raju

Priya Raju, MD, currently holds the position of Pediatrics Resident Physician at UNC Health, where involvement includes serving as a House Staff Council Representative since June 2023. Prior to this, Priya Raju gained experience as a Medical Assistant and Scribe at AL-JUBURI UROLOGY, PLLC, and as a Medical Assistant at Tia. Training in research was pursued as a Student Researcher at American University of the Caribbean, focusing on the AMSA Reproductive Health Scorecard under the guidance of Dr. Aliye Runyon. Additional qualifications include participation in a Specialized Diagnostic Techniques for Breast Cancer Virtual Training Course, and facilitation roles at St. Maarten AIDS Foundation. Educational achievements comprise a Doctor of Medicine from American University of the Caribbean, a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University, and an Advanced Studies Diploma with a focus on biotechnology from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
