Nathaniel Kitzke

Nathaniel Kitzke has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as an Optomechanics Design engineer for the University of Victoria Adaptive Optics Lab, contributing to the development of the RAVEN science instrument. From 2012 to 2014, they served as a Simulations & Mechanical Systems Engineer at SNC-Lavalin, where they worked on projects related to fire, smoke, and wind simulations for architectural and engineering designs. In 2015, Nathaniel worked as a freelance graphic designer. In 2016, they joined ROI Research on Investment as a Front-End Developer and was involved in developing a data-driven web application. Nathaniel also worked as a Web Development Teaching Assistant at DecodeMTL, where they mentored students and developed course curriculum. From 2017 to 2019, Nathaniel worked at Shutterstock, initially as a Software Engineer involved in migration projects and integration of new payment systems, and later as a Software Development Manager overseeing the Shutterstock Music migration project.
