Ross Walton

Ross Walton is a Senior Application Scientist specializing in analytics at Unchained Labs since March 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD Researcher at Duke University from September 2012 to December 2018, where Ross published two papers on the interactions of the host innate immune system with a recombinant oncolytic poliovirus. Previously, Ross worked as a Research Associate at Berkeley Lab from September 2007 to April 2012, contributing to two publications regarding protein structures and developing a novel protocol for growing protein crystals. Earlier roles include a Student Assistant position at the University of California, Berkeley, and an IT Support Technician role at the Office of Environment, Health, and Safety. Ross holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
