Trip Wood

Trip Wood has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Trip most recently worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Uncommon James since May 2020. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles at FabFitFun, including Senior Vice President Operations and Vice President Operations, from 2017 to 2020. Before their time at FabFitFun, Trip served as the Vice President, Global Sourcing, Quality and International Commercial Operations at PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc. from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Target, where they held positions such as Regional Managing Director, Indian Sub Continent, Egypt & Turkey, Managing Director, TSS India, Senior Product Manager, and Senior Group Leader, from 2004 to 2012. Trip began their career in the United States Navy as a Soviet Naval Cryptologist from 1987 to 1992. Throughout their career, Trip has demonstrated their expertise in operations, sourcing, quality control, and international business.

Trip Wood completed their high school education at Avon Old Farms School from 1982 to 1985, earning a High School Diploma in a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. Trip then attended Kenyon College from 1985 to 1987, where they studied Economics with a focus on Sovietology. Finally, from 1994 to 1996, they pursued International Finance at Stetson University.
