Taesun Kim

Taesun Kim is a seasoned Senior Footwear Designer currently at Under Armour, with a career progression that includes significant roles at PUMA Group, Saucony, Converse, New Balance, and various other collaborations. At PUMA Group, Taesun Kim designed performance running projects while aligning creative vision with brand storytelling through collaboration with cross-functional teams. At Saucony, the focus was on enhancing performance through functional designs and effective communication with manufacturers. Earlier experiences include concept development for the women's sportstyle team at Converse and a footwear design apprenticeship at New Balance, where initial design sketches were created. Taesun Kim's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Architectural and Product Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art, complemented by accolades such as winning first place at a prestigious design competition.
