Shannon Spencer

Shannon Spencer has extensive work experience in the insurance and healthcare industry. Shannon currently holds the position of Sr. VP of Claims at Underwriting Management Experts (UME). Previously, they worked as the Director of Plan Operations at Boon-Chapman and as the Director of Claims Operations at Evolent Health. Shannon also served as the Marketing Director at USBenefits Insurance Services, LLC.

In their role as an Assistant Vice President at Tokio Marine HCC - Stop Loss Group, Shannon achieved significant accomplishments such as implementing paperless processes, establishing a work-from-home guide, and reporting substantial cost savings. Shannon also developed various reports, collaborated with underwriting, and facilitated quality and training departments.

Shannon's earlier experiences include working at United Healthcare Group as an Associate Director of Claims, at Parallon Business Solutions as a Clinical Appeals Manager, at The Scooter Store as a Manager of Billing & Collections, at Humana as a Cost Management Supervisor, and in the US Navy as a Petty Officer 3rd Class.

Shannon Spencer received a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Wayland Baptist University between 2004 and 2008.
