Fiona Bayat-Renoux

Fiona Bayat-Renoux currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Deputy Director of the Executive Office of the Administrator at UNDP, overseeing day-to-day operations, performance management, and business planning. Prior to this, Fiona held the position of Chief of the Green Climate Finance Unit at UNCDF, where responsibilities included developing climate finance strategies and managing partnerships. Fiona's experience includes serving as Chief of Staff at the Green Climate Fund, Senior Programme Officer at the United Nations focused on Financing Sustainable Development, and Senior Advisor in the Executive Office of UN Women. Previous roles encompass leadership positions at UN Environment, UNDP, UNOPS, International Rescue Committee, and The Asia Foundation, emphasizing governance, climate finance, and sustainable development. Fiona holds a Master’s degree in Economics from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Science from the University of Cape Town.
