Mahenau Agha

Mahenau Agha is a seasoned professional in sustainable finance and communications, currently serving as Senior Advisor for Sustainable Finance at UNDP since 2021. Agha has held key roles at UNEP, including Director of Outreach for the UNEP Inquiry into the Design of a Sustainable Financial System from 2014 to March 2021, and Senior Advisor from 2012 to 2013. Previous experience includes leadership positions at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) as Head of Communications and Press, and various roles at UNDP, where Agha contributed to external relations and partnerships for nearly two decades. Agha began a career at UNEP in 1984 and has a strong educational background with degrees from American College of Switzerland and American University, as well as early education at Karachi American School.
