Bayarlkham Byambaa is an experienced finance and project management professional with a strong background in environmental sustainability and international development. Currently serving as a Senior Programme Associate at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative since February 2022, Bayarlkham has also taken on roles with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures as a Finance and Operations Manager. Previous experience includes financial management at the Permanent Mission of Mongolia to the United Nations, leading national projects at UNDP focused on energy efficiency, and founding the Human Security and Environmental Sustainability Research Center. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Banking and Finance from the University of Luxembourg and a Master's in Sustainability Science from The University of Tokyo.
