Duraid Abbas

Duraid Abbas is a seasoned Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in software system design and development, currently employed at the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS) since December 2008, focusing on the statistical data lifecycle and serving as the technical architect for the UIS Data API. Prior to UIS, Duraid worked at Protus IP Solutions, developing a large SOA system for a SaaS email marketing platform, and at Kivuto, where Duraid developed an e-commerce engine for a major software distributor serving academic organizations. Early career experience includes developing a multi-channel survey and reporting engine at iCoGo. Duraid holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Ryerson University, earned between 1998 and 2002.
