Esther Kuisch Laroche currently serves as the Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at UNESCO, a position held since April 2024, in which responsibilities include directing the regional office and representing UNESCO in Chile. Previously, Esther was the Director of Partnerships at UNDSS from April 2021 to April 2024. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Education from Penn State University, a Master's degree in Latin American Studies from Leiden University, and a certificate in Child Protection from Harvard University.
