Eunsong Kim is a seasoned specialist in gender equality and social inclusion, currently serving as the Chief of the Social and Human Sciences Section at UNESCO since October 2022. Previously, Eunsong held positions at UNICEF as an Education Specialist and at UNESCO as an Education Program Specialist, where responsibilities included leading significant joint programs and managing a diverse team. Eunsong's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Research Associate at the Center for International Development (CID), focusing on bilateral development projects in education across Asia and the Pacific. Eunsong holds a Master of Science in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Korea University, supplemented by a study abroad program in Economics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
