Mostafa Ghanim is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in civil engineering and project management, particularly in the rehabilitation and restoration of heritage and infrastructure in Mosul. Since April 2020, Mostafa has served as a Senior Engineer at UNESCO, focusing on heritage buildings and infrastructure. Prior roles include QA/QC Civil Engineer at UNDP, supervising the rehabilitation of over 1,000 war-damaged houses, and WASH Officer at World Vision, where rehabilitation of schools and water networks was a primary responsibility. Mostafa has also held positions with ACTED and the Norwegian Refugee Council, contributing to shelter assessments and support for displaced persons. An administrator in the veterinary services sector and a published author, Mostafa holds an MBA from European International University and multiple degrees in construction engineering from Technical College of Mosul.
