Brindha N.

Brindha N. has a strong background in plant breeding and research. Brindha currently works at Unfold as the Director of Leafy Crop Breeding. In this role, they are responsible for building and managing a world-class breeding and variety testing pipeline. Brindha collaborates with external partners and vertical farming industry leaders to drive innovation in vertical farming. Brindha also works closely with the customer-facing team to promote Unfold's novel variety offerings. Brindha guides product pipeline management, internal testing protocols, and deployment of automation for phenotyping. Additionally, Brindha participates in strategic planning for business growth through the development, licensing, or acquisition of new services and technologies. Prior to joining Unfold, Brindha worked at Kemin Industries as the Associate Director of Breeding & Selection, where they led a global team in breeding research and seed production programs. Brindha also held the role of Manager of Breeding & Selection and Plant Geneticist at Kemin Industries. Brindha began their career at The Samuel Noble Roberts Foundation as a Post Doctoral Fellow.

Brindha N. has a Ph.D in Plant Genetics and Breeding from Kansas State University. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Annamalai University.
