Anuja Pathak

Anuja Pathak is an experienced professional specializing in protection and human rights, currently serving as an Associate Protection Officer at UNHCR since July 2025. Prior to this role, Anuja worked as a Field Officer with the United Nations and as a Human Rights and Protection Support Officer at Peace Brigades International. Anuja has a solid foundation in immigrant justice and advocacy, having contributed to educational programs through Georgetown University's Center for Social Justice Research. Anuja's previous experience includes conducting research for Mercy Corps, developing advocacy strategies for Peace Brigades International UK, and providing support to vulnerable populations in various capacities. Anuja holds a Master's degree in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Disability Studies, Rights and Inclusion at the University of Leeds.
