Carlo Reitano

Carlo Reitano is an experienced finance and budget management professional currently serving as Regional Controller at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, since February 2018. In this role, Carlo monitors financial resource management across the region and ensures compliance with UNHCR's policies. Previously, Carlo held positions such as Senior Budget Officer and Head of Performance Analytics and Reporting Unit at UNHCR, along with roles as Chief Finance and Budget Officer for the United Nations and Head of Programme and Budget Section at the International Atomic Energy Agency. Carlo's extensive background also includes leadership positions at the International Civil Aviation Organization, UNFPA, and earlier roles in research and underwriting. Carlo holds a Master of Science in Statistics from Sapienza Università di Roma and has attended Harvard Business School and the AMA American Management Association for advanced education in management and accounting.
