Dave Duru is a dedicated medical student at the University of Cambridge, pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB BChir) degree. Currently, Dave holds the position of Giussani Lab Research Student in the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, focusing on wet-lab research related to Tadalafil therapy for fetal origins of heart disease. Dave also serves as an Academic Officer for both the Cambridge Black Medics Society and the Gonville and Caius Medical Society, where responsibilities include organizing academic events and managing resources for peers. Additional roles include tutoring at UniAdmissions and representing the medicine course at the university. Previously, Dave gained practical surgical skills through an Anatomy Dissection Internship and participated in various camp leadership and teaching roles at St. Michaels University School.
