Alice Vickers

Alice Vickers is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as the Lead Legal Affairs Specialist at UNICEF since August 2023. Vickers has a strong background in public international law, UK public law, and EU law, having held various positions including Senior Lawyer and Diplomat at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office from August 2020 to August 2023. In that role, Vickers managed a diverse portfolio covering international and treaty law matters, particularly in sanctions and the agricultural and fisheries sectors. Previous roles include Senior Lawyer at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Senior Lawyer in the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, and Lawyer at the Home Office Legal Adviser's Branch. Vickers' legal career began as a Solicitor at TV Edwards Solicitors LLP and later as a Solicitor-Team Leader at The Co-operative Legal Services.
