Israa al-Juboori

Israa Al-Juboori is a highly experienced professional in youth and adolescent development, currently serving as the Youth and Adolescents Development Manager at UNICEF since August 2020. Prior roles at UNICEF include Chief of Youth and Adolescents Development and Participation and Youth and Adolescent Development Specialist. Previously, Israa held positions at UNESCO as a Project Officer and at UNDP for nearly seven years, focusing on social cohesion, peacebuilding, and governance. Additional experience includes roles at USAID and Babylon Gates, along with positions as an Administrative Associate and Executive Administrative Assistant. Israa's educational background includes a Master's degree in Global Management from The University of Salford, a fellowship in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from Beyond Borders Scotland, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Science from Mustansiriyah University.
