Jessica Dixon

Jessica Dixon currently serves as the Child Protection Sub-National Sector Coordinator at UNICEF Syria, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Jessica was a Child Protection Officer at UNRWA from March 2022 to July 2023 and a Child Protection Specialist (a.i.) and Officer at UNICEF Yemen from January 2018 to March 2022, where additional roles included Reports Officer. Jessica also worked as a Resource Mobilisation and Reporting Officer at UNICEF Bolivia between July 2016 and December 2017, and as a Programme Support Officer at International Alert from February 2014 to June 2016. Earlier roles included Assistant at The Global Poverty Project and Education Intern at UNICEF UK. Educational credentials include an MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development from SOAS University of London and a BA in Modern Languages (Arabic and Spanish) from Durham University.
