Kevin Wyjad is an experienced professional specializing in contextual risk analysis and emergency preparedness within international organizations. Currently serving as the Emergency Specialist and Contextual Risk Analysis Lead at UNICEF since April 2018, Wyjad has established the organization's first dedicated contextual risk analysis function. Previously, Wyjad held various roles at the World Food Programme from 2008 to 2018, including Integrated Context Analysis Coordinator and Senior Risk Analyst, where contributions involved global coordination of evaluation programs and development of analytical methods to inform strategic decision-making. Experience also includes project management roles at the German Red Cross, Immigrant Services Calgary, and research positions at the Embassy of Canada in Beijing and Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada.
