Heather K. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Heather began their career as a Freelance Translator in 2015, providing translation services on a self-employed basis. In 2017, they worked as an English Teacher at Windsor Education Schools for a short period. In 2018, they had a brief stint as the COMPUTEX TAIPEI Foreign Press PR at Pallas Public Relations. From 2019 to 2020, Heather worked as a Secretarial Assistant at National Sun Yat-Sen University. In 2021, they worked as a Young Learner Assistant at the British Council until November. In the same year, they also worked as a Freelance Translator at Translated. Heather's recent experience includes working as a Game Localization Specialist at Unico Studio and a Translator at ICS-translate and Words in Translation, all starting in 2022. Additionally, they have a current freelance translation role at DUX Translations.

Heather K. is currently enrolled in the Translation into Chinese Professional Program at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies since 2021. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from National Sun Yat-Sen University, where they studied from 2018 to 2021. Before attending National Sun Yat-Sen University, Heather completed another Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Linguistics at Fu Jen Catholic University from 2017 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Heather has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In April 2022, they completed the "Crash Course in Localization" offered by Lokalise | Hiring remotely. Heather also attained a certification in "Marketing: Copywriting for Social Media" from LinkedIn in the same month.

Furthermore, in June 2021, Heather completed the "Viral Marketing and How to Craft Contagious Content" course offered by Coursera. In September 2020, they obtained a certification in "TOEIC® Speaking and Writing" from ETS. Prior to this, they achieved the "GEPT Advanced" certification from The Language Training and Testing Center in October 2017. In November 2014, Heather obtained a "TOEIC® 990" certification from ETS.
