Head Of IT Demand And Portfolio Management Ce&ee at UniCredit Group

Arpad Marton has extensive work experience in various roles within the banking and financial industry. Arpad started their career at Axel Springer Financial Media as a journalist intern, where they attended press conferences and wrote articles about the insurance industry. Arpad then worked as an economic journalist at MTI - Hungarian News Agency Corp., focusing on writing press articles about the Hungarian and global economy.

In 2011, Arpad joined UniCredit S.p.A. Zweigniederlassung as a Project Coordinator, where they coordinated and participated in group-wide projects. One of their main projects was the successful coordination of product brochures creation for all CEE subsidiaries of the UniCredit Group.

Arpad then moved to UniCredit Bank Hungary, where they held multiple roles. Arpad started as a Cash Management Specialist, responsible for the sales activity of cash management products and unique solutions for mid-market and prime corporates. Arpad later became an Implementation Manager and RfP Manager, coordinating cash management implementation projects in Hungary and within the UniCredit Group.

In 2014, Arpad transitioned to UniCredit Services, where they served as the Senior IT Business Relationship Manager - Vice President. In this role, they acted as a strategic interface between the IT company and the CEE Banks of the UniCredit Group, focusing on business-IT strategy development, relationship management, solution discovery, risk management, and contract management. Arpad built and managed a team responsible for relationship management, customer service coordination, contract management, and demand portfolio management for cross-country projects within the CEE and SEE perimeter.

Currently, Arpad holds the position of Head of IT Demand and portfolio management CE&EE at UniCredit Services, where they continue to enhance demand and delivery processes, advocate for business stakeholders, and lead local and cross-country projects. Arpad also leads regular service committee meetings and motivates and develops team members.

Arpad Marton obtained a Master's degree in Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest from 2003 to 2008. In 2016 to 2017, they pursued Masters in IT and management from Politecnico di Milano. Additionally, they obtained an Advanced Microsoft Excel Certificate from Szirtes Technologies Oktatóközpont in 2012.
