Marco Bressan began his career in 2003 as Innovation Director for Visual Century Research.

From 2009 to 2012 he worked for Xerox, first as Laboratory Manager for the Services Innovation Lab and then as Chief Innovation Officer for Transportation and Government Solutions.

From 2012 to 2017, he worked for BBVA as Director of the Innovation Labs and then Chief Data Scientist. His mandate was to transform BBVA into a data-driven organisation, developing and promoting new data products, algorithms, AI, data-centric operations, data-driven decision-making and nurturing analytical competencies within the group.

In 2017, he joined Globant as Artificial Intelligence Strategy Advisor, helping the company to position itself as a leader in AI services and solutions. He also worked with Satellogic as Chief Product Officer / Chief Data Scientist, bringing together a team of AI experts to build a planet-scale real-time analytics platform for the Argentinian company which specialises in satellites construction. At the same time, he was a member of the Transformation & Innovation Advisory Board at UniCredit.

In February 2021, Marco was appointed Group Data & Analytics Officer for UniCredit. In this capacity, he fosters a consistent data culture across the bank, providing a single point of reference for all related activities. He also promotes the adoption of new technologies and the usage of advanced analytics, in order to further support commercial activities as well as risk, regulatory and finance processes. He is a member of the UniCredit Group Executive Management Committee.
